Rotor Stator pumps are progressive cavity pumps, which are a type of positive displacement pump. Some also call them eccentric screw pumps. Just as there are many names for them, there are also many different areas of use for rotor stators. Our customers mainly use them for pumping screed, mortar, plaster or refractory tundish.
We produced a little animated video to show you the inner workings of these magical devices:
For plaster, the most popular pump is the D6-3, which has a solid output of 30 litres per min at 400 rpm. If you need more, you can go with the D8-2, which at 66 litres per minute has more output then any other D-pump.
For floor screed conveyors like the Putzmeister S5 we recommend the 2L6 or 2L88. These pumps come in different versions. You can get the stators with integrated clamp, maintenance free of slitted so you can use an external clamp.
The list of different types is very long. In our shop you will find a lot, but there are many more. So if you don't find the type you need, please get in touch. We will be able to help you out.
