The rotor stator unit is the central component of every mixing and delivery pump. This essential pump unit generates the required pressure to transport materials efficiently to the point of application.

Depending on the pump size and configuration, different conveying capacities can be achieved, ensuring optimal performance for a wide range of materials and applications.

Understanding Pump Performance and Pressure Stages

Each rotor stator is identified by a specific designation. The last digit indicates the number of pressure stages, with each stage capable of generating up to 10 bar of working pressure.

If the pump no longer reaches the required pressure levels, this is a clear sign of wear. In such cases, replacing the rotor stator ensures consistent performance and prevents operational downtime.

To meet various operational requirements, different stator designs are available:

1. Maintenance-Free Stators

These stators are ready for immediate use after installation. They require no additional adjustment and offer a simple, time-saving solution for standard applications.

2. Tensible (Adjustable) Stators

Tensible stators allow for individual adjustment based on material type and grain size, providing greater flexibility and extended usability. They are divided into two main categories:

• Stators with Integrated Clamp – Built-in clamping mechanism for quick and easy adjustment
• Slotted Stators with External Clamp – Require an external clamping device for tensioning

When conveying pressure decreases, these stators can be retightened, significantly extending their service life and maintaining consistent performance.
