m-tec Duo Mix 2000 Spare Parts

The Duo Mix 2000 leaves the factory with the m-tec Star pump, good for about 22 l/min. It also takes every D-series rotor stator and the UE 45/7. The pump sits at the end of the mixing coil and decides the output and the material you can convey.

• D4-1/2 and D4-1/4: lower output, for fine products and precise work.
• D6-3: the most common plaster pump, also as "Drill", ECO and PFT Twister versions.
• D8-2, D7-2.5: in between.
• D8-1.5: higher output, less pressure.
• UE 45/7: for flowing screed and high volumes.

Depending on the pump, the machine covers roughly 5-60 l/min. Two things to know before you switch size: D4 stators need the m-tec change flange 608529, the UE 45/7 needs the replacement flange 608554 and the pump end piece 606725, and the R7-1.5 needs flange 608555 and pump end piece 607725. • Mixing: the long mixing pipe (m-tec 605028), the short mixing pipe with rubber seals (608572) and its seal set (608549), the mixing shaft with coil (608505/001), the pump mixing coil Intensive II (607042), the PU mixing shaft bearing (545061/001) and the bearing sleeve (608587).

• Compressed air: the V-MEKO 400 compressor and the pressure switch.
• Electrics and controls: MCU control unit, dual push button with signal lamp (574033), push button (574045), film potentiometer 10 k and holder (565593, 608544), m-tec sensor (605248), magnetic switch with cable (565658), connecting cable for the air pressure controller (608079), circuit breaker B16A (570011), PE terminal (548249), main switch, socket and the control cabinet key.
• Tools: the turning tool from the machine's scope of supply (550255).

Many of these parts are shared with the earlier duo-mix and the duo-mix-SI. The numbers in brackets are the m-tec ordering numbers from the official parts list.

On a mixing pump, the parts that wear fastest touch the material: the stator and rotor, mixing coils and shafts, the conveyor screw and the seals. How fast depends on the material. Coarse, abrasive plasters and screeds wear them much faster than fine products. If your Duo Mix 2000 runs every day, a spare stator, a mixing coil and a set of seals on the van can save a day on site.

The m-tec Duo Mix 2000 mixes in two stages: the dry material is fed into standing water rather than sprayed, which gives an even mix even with difficult products. It handles plaster, render, bricklaying and adhesive mortar, insulating plaster and flowing screed, and can be converted into a continuous mixer with the long mixing tube or into a mortar pump for paste materials.
