The 2L8 Rotor Stator Set, also known as Cobra 2, is one of our largest high-output progressive cavity pumps for demanding concrete, mortar, screed, and heavy-duty material pumping applications.
With an exceptional flow rate of 560 l/min at 400 RPM, a maximum grain size of 16 mm, and a large 193 × 655 mm stator, the 2L8 is designed for applications requiring very high material throughput.
The 2L8 is used in professional pumping equipment including the Putzmeister SP20 DHF, Putzmeister SP25, PFT ZP3 XXL, Brinkmann FHS250, and Brinkmann FHS200, as well as Transmix systems and other compatible machines.
The complete set combines a high-alloy tool steel rotor with a 63 Shore stator with integrated clamp. Different rotor head and stator configurations are available depending on the machine and application.

The 2L8 provides:

- 280 l/min at 200 RPM
This exceptionally high conveying capacity makes the 2L8 suitable for applications where large volumes of material need to be pumped efficiently.
Up to 16 mm Grain Size
With a maximum grain size of 16 mm, the 2L8 can handle significantly coarser compatible materials than smaller D- and L-series screw pumps.
This makes it particularly suitable for concrete, mortar, screed, and other heavy-duty construction materials.
Integrated Clamp System
The 2L8 stator features an integrated adjustable clamp.
The stator tension can be manually adjusted using the clamping screws, allowing experienced operators to compensate for wear and adapt the stator tension when required.
The integrated design eliminates the need for a separate external clamp.
Care should be taken when adjusting the stator. Excessive tension increases friction and can reduce the service life of the rotor and stator.
Two Rotor Head Configurations
The 2L8 rotor is manufactured from high-alloy tool steel and is available with different head configurations.
Square Head with Drill Hole
One version features a square rotor head with drill hole.
Hexagonal Head
An alternative hexagonal rotor head is also available.
The correct version should be selected according to the machine and drive connection.
Standard & Long Life Stator
Two 2L8 stator versions are available.
Standard – White
The standard 2L8 stator is white and features an integrated adjustable clamp.
2L8 Long Life – Orange
The alternative 2L8 Long Life stator is orange.
It is designed as the longer-life option for demanding professional applications where extended replacement intervals are particularly important.
Both versions have the same basic dimensions of 193 mm diameter and 655 mm length.
